Did you hear? A wonderful new coffee shop has replaced what was Solar Cafe on 4004 Main Street in Old Hilliard! You may already be familiar with the company as a mobile operation but they are completely up and running in their first physical location and Hilliard is SO lucky to have them. 

The main house contains the coffee (of course) and some adorable seating and meeting areas on both levels. For those of us parents who have to bring our munchkins with wherever we go, you can head to the back building! There is a large community space on the ground floor and a kids playroom on the top. The kids had so much fun and I loved sitting back with my mocha and watching them. 

This spot isn't just for parents and children, but I see teenagers through seniors being able to commune to have meetings, projects, etc. I love the mission  behind the Greniers family coffee shop. They don't just want to sell a product, they want to build relationships and strengthen their community. You can't NOT support an establishment like this.

We were just here again this past Sunday for the launch party for Columbus Kids Do Good. (The back house is perfect for organizing events by the way! ;) )It was the perfect combination of two community leaders coming together to create change. How lucky are we Hilliard?
