My Biggest First World Problem

This is not a sponsored post. But it sounds like it because that's how excited I am. #notsponsoredjustexcited

What's my biggest problem lately? That's also not really a problem? Grocery shopping with three kids!  know. I should be lucky that we are privileged enough to even go to a grocery store filled with items we mostly don't need. But nonetheless, it is a serious expedition. Some days it is just a minor hassle and other days I am trembling with fear in the parking lot debating on whether I am really desperate enough to get us all inside.

There are already a few options out there to make the grocery life easier. Peapod, curbside pickup, Amazon, etc. And I have definitely been utilizing the curbside pickup from our local Kroger on a regular basis. However, last week I found myself in a situation where after a fun day out we found ourselves on the last diaper, with my husband being out of town, and the kids were in major meltdown status! It was too late in the day to utilize same day pickup from Kroger and I just couldn't bear the thought of us going inside the store.

Thank goodness my desperate Googling led me to the discovery of Shipt! I made a quick list of necessities and got everything delivered to my house in 1 hour from our local Meijer. I actually had to worry more about making it home before the driver got there, that's how quick they are.

The driver is here!

I mean seriously, how is this real life? Groceries in an hour, text communication about shopping status and substitutions, and the employees will carry all the groceries into your kitchen. (Or just your front porch if that's too weird).

Super friendly and communicated any issues with my order the whole time!

Extra perk? I am inept at picking out a ripe fruit or avocado but the Shipt shoppers are experts! If you are also an overloaded mom, or just anyone that needs this convenience, try out two weeks for free and get 10$ free groceries by clicking the link below!
