If you have multiple children then I'm sure you will appreciate a place where they all can play with age appropriate toys simultaneously. Now that my son is old enough to appreciate the full Lego kits, he enjoyed peace away from his younger siblings at a table by himself. Their cover slipped instructions are much nicer than our crumpled versions at home. Big brother could easily flip through and work out each step (mostly) by himself.

The younger kids and I made a "castle" out of the giant blocks and also checked out the bins of Duplos. The hour whizzed by!

Yes, we have Legos at home. But Lego sets are expensive, tiny pieces are easily lost, and most of the time there isn't a good spot to set something up when you still have a crawler in the house who can choke on tiny pieces. Brick of Dreams will now be our lego haven. A place where a child can come and be stimulated and imaginative in their play. Maybe in a way they can't at home. Not to mention kids can interact with each other and possibly create something extraordinary together.

I don't know about you, but I want to encourage my children's love of Legos as much as I can. This type of play expands their creativity and imagination, helps their fine motor skills, provides a basic concept of physics, and ultimately is the first step towards a brilliantly successful career in engineering. The dividends of that success which are sure to secure me a cushy senior living home. Wait, did I leap too far ahead there?
